Edith was born in Canada in 1959 and arrived in Australia with her parents in the early seventies. As a child she spent many hours with her mother in Creative Artwork including Ceramics, Sculpture, and Painting. It was this practice that led her into a world of design and colour.

Using pen and ink with watercolours, she has developed a unique stylised form of illustrations that express a world of fantasy and wonder. Edith has also worked in relief printing, exploring the many different effects of registration, adding new dimensions and colours to her prints.

In observing the beauty of nature, as her source of inspiration, she takes time to study life forms in their finest detail. Edith’s Creations are intricately woven, blending colours vibrantly yet. Edith has Exhibited at various venues galleries and craft markets throughout the Tweed Valley and Byron Bay.Her work is held in Private Collections both in Australia and Overseas
